Product Description
Rabbit polyclonal antibody to Dmt1, which is a member of the NRAMP family. It is localized to the endosome membrane. It is highly expressed in spleen, thymus and pancreas. Dmt1 is important in metal transport, in particular iron. It is involved in apical iron uptake into duodenal enterocytes and may play major role in hepatic iron accumulation and tissue iron distribution.
